Perrault isn't playing well at the moment..and they need space fo Koivu. So, it make sense to sit Perrault.

As much as I like this move is does surprise me a little bit.

First its going to be awesome to see Koivu back in the lineup ....Lets hope hes stays heathly *knock on wood* I think he will be playing with Zednik and Audette because last I read was that Julien was going with a young gun line of Ryder-Ribiero-Hossa.

As for Perrault....sure he has 5 goals(like 4 in the first week of the season) and he leads the league in faceoff percentage(Koivu is a good faceoff man) BUT he is the biggest floater on the team and it pains me to watch him play. I would like to get rid of him as much as Brisebois. He is an UFA at the end of the season so the Habs will want to get rid of him BUT it is a bad year for UFA with the CBA problem ahead.

Ballsy move by Julien, he has my support.

I wouldn't say this is trouble, I think this is good news for the Habs they have finally realised that Perrault is a wimp. Sure he's good at face-offs but I think he's only been in the corner 3 times in his career. The Canadiens need toughness keeping Yanic around will be of no help.

As dumb a GM that Pat Quinn was one of the few good moves he made in Toronto was to not offer Perrault another contract.

Do you know whats sad? The leading scorer is Perrault..with only 7 points.
Montreal needs to get better at scoring to win games.

Also, Souray is 2nd in goals...with 5. Amazing when a defensive defenseman is one of your top scorers!

The coring is spread out. There first bit of the season every one was scoring. the problem is they either play Awesome or like Crap.

The "A" game or the "S" game.

Bob has to figure out how to turn the team on "A" game, and keep them there!
