There has been the rumor floating around about Jagr being dealt to the Habs. I don't know if you watched the game on Tuesday but there was a fan in the stands with a sign reading "We Want Jagr" LOL. Anyways whether the rumor is true or not I am curious on what you think he could bring to the team. I'm really not sure what to think. Word has it that the Caps are willing to eat a good chunk of his salary. Rumors I have heard are Ribiero, Hossa & Rivet for Jagr.

Now I know his better days are behind him but he still has plenty of skills and he may be the superstar that the Habs are lacking. I don't see it ever happening....I am imaging Jagr with the CH on his chest and it just seems weird.

On the other hand if Washington is willing to eat enough of his contract then why not roll the dice. Imagine if he was able to find his magic again. Koivu and Jagr could be a nice combination. But then again with the CBA fiasco over the horizon this deal probably isn't a good idea.

One thing is for sure, it would be crazy if it happened!

u know what there was rumors with nolan, but its bull! there not going to take his huge salary, and trade away depth that the habs dont really have

Jagr hasn't been a superstar since PBurgh, and just makes too much money. The guy plays only when he wants to play, and not well under pressure. Note he signed a huge contact with Wash., and has not performed.

Just imagine how he would deal with the pressure in Habland.

Someone the Habs could use would be Primeau, Doan, Deadmarsh, Hartnell, Marleau. Someone big, and someone who can score. But, also can come at a pretty good price.

Montreal has to keep the young talent it has and develop them to play well togehter. they had it right at the start of the season and now it's like they only want to play well every 4-5 games.

Jagr can take his salute and shuve it up his donkey!
