So I was watching the news the other day and heard about some guy financing his own "pro" lacrosse team here in Chicago...just wondering if any other cities might have a team now? You know, it'd be hard to have a sports team and not have anyone to play, I think fans would give up if they couldn't see their favorite players play AT ALL. :haha: Sound familiar?
Discuss.

There is a league called the NLL with teams in Toronto, Buffalo, Rochester, Philadelphia, Calgary, Edmonton, Arizona and a bunch of other teams. I can't speak for the other teams, but I know the Toronto franchise has been very successful at the gate.
Most of the players will hold two jobs when they are playing, but it's still worth it. It's a cool sport to watch.

Yeah the Roughnecks have quite a bit of support here in Calgary too. Theres also teams in Minnesota, Colorado, Portland and San Jose. Its a great sport, you deffinetely get your moneys worth.
the nll is box lacrosse which is indoor and very similar to hockey. our team ehre in buffalo has great success and they also have one of the greatest lacrosse players of all time (jonny travares). there is also a pro lacrosse laugue called the mll. this leaugue is the same kind of lacrosse as college. i do not no much about the mll tohu
I've seen the indoor one flipping channels one night. Awesome. Just like hockey, except no ice and skates!
I would be interested if they had a team in Detroit.
