Two Lancers earn USHL honors

Lancer newcomers Adam Comrie and Drew Palmisano earned USHL Player of the Week Honors for the week of December 18, 2006.

Drew Palmisano

In his first two games since being traded to the Lancers, Palmisano won a pair of 4-1 games over Indiana. For the week, he was 2-0-0 with a 1.00 GAA and a .957 save percentage, stopping 44 of 46 shots faced.

USHL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Adam Comrie

A steady scorer on the blue line all season, Comrie picked up four points in his first two games as a Lancer. He had an assist on Friday, and a goal and two assists on Saturday, both 4-1 home wins over Indiana.
