Local Kirby Students Join Wildcats on the Ice

Today the Wildcats had some very special guests visit the Kay Yeager Coliseum. Kirby Elementary students, Dajhanae Allen, age 13, and Jonathon Word, age 12, are both autistic children and have never been to the Wildcats facility before. They were given the chance to tour the rink, go out on the ice, see the Zamboni, and spend time with some of the Wildcats players. Ricky Doriott, Joel Sauer, Zack Josepher, Adam Krefski, Creighton Scarpone, Sean Nealon, and Adam Nugent were on hand to visit with Dajhanae and Jonathon and show the kids what it is like to be a hockey player. Jonathon laced up a pair of skates and with the aide of Doriott and Scarpone, was able to skate around on the ice and get his picture taken in front of the goal. The Wildcats would like to thank Dajhanae, Jonathon, and Kirby Elementary for their support of Wildcats hockey.
