* Jean Desrochers had a hat trick in season opener and leads Johnstown with three goals and four points.
* Nailers were 9-2-1 against Johnstown in 2005-06 and are 71-41-14 all time against the Chiefs.
* Zbynek Hrdel leads the Chiefs with three assists and is tied for the team lead with four points.
* Kurtis McLean leads Wheeling with three assists and three points.

Idaho Steelheads (2-0-0) at Victoria Salmon Kings (0-2-0) 7:05 p.m. PT
* Salmon Kings closed out last season going 3-1-1 at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.
* Idaho continues season-opening five-game road trip before hosting Utah in home opener on Nov. 3.
* Victoria has won the last two meetings with Idaho and was 5-3-0 against the Steelheads in 2005-06.
