I a saw several postings on another website that Craig Leipold, the first owner of Nashville's team, is offering to buy a majority stake in the Wild. The SI and ESPN websites were mentioned as sources. The current owner of the Wild is going to retain a minority share.

I was startled by the news. First, the Wild seem tremendously successful in the economic sense. Second, I didn't expect Leipold to buy another team ever, let alone immediately. I wonder what Jim Balsillie thinks about this situation after being shut out from buying the Pens and the Preds.
