Only $475k per year. You know what, scandal aside, I think by January a lot of teams are going to be wishing they had done this. The Wild say they believe that Hill didn't "knowingly" take a banned substance ... whether or not you believe that is irrellevant, what is relevant is whether or not you think that he can still be a decent player with out that substance. Hill has been a solid d-man for a long time, so I don't see why not. Even if he loses a step, he'll still be a good top-6 guy who is steady defensively, and at the league minimum you can't go wrong with that.
