I said for Pens vs Sens...I doubt they'll win Stanley Cup.

As for Chokers , Add Deroit in it. They are the best team in reguar season and can't even make Cup Finlas (Except 2002)
Atleast Sens were never the BEST team in the league.
Ohhh SOF, sometimes I wonder...

Bytheway, They went to Conference Finals that year, right?

So they didn't choke that year.

Detroit has been a power since that season, and I can't believe im going to stick up for them, but here it goes...

01-02 - Cup Champs
02-03 - Lost to Anaheim in Quarters (Stanley Cup Finalist)
03-04 - Lost to Calgary in Semis (Stanley cup Finalist)
05-06 - Lost to Edmonton in Quarters (Stanley Cup Finalist)

BTW; Ottawa was a heavy favourite that year, I remember very well, it was actually Marty Brodeur and Scott Stevens who made Ottawa choke out, so technically, they did choke.

As you can see, within those four seasons, Detroit has one the cup once, and lost their other three series to teams that went on to be Cup Finalists. Really, their is no shame in that.

They were the best team and lost to the teams that were lower than them. That's a shame, same for Ottawa.

These teams need to win.

But the teams who Detroit lost to in the past few years have all went on to the stanley cup finals. That can't be an easy feat now can it?

Exactly. Well said prucha. Sens_oilers_fan no offense but the more you post on this topic the more ignorant you make yourself seem.

Bite your tongue boy, the Wings deserve all the shame that can be bestowed upon them, and then some.
