I like the Gaborik-Demitra-Radivojevic line also; hopefully we'll see it sometime this year. I think a little more muscle would do both Gabs and Demitra better, and Radivojevic could crash the net and clean up, too.
I think the smartest way to do it, at least to start, would be this:
Gaborik - Demitra - Parrish
Rolston - White - Bouchard
Dupuis - Walz - Radivojevic
Veilleux - Koivu - Boogaard
Johnsson - Schultz
Carney - Skoula
Foster - Burns
Schultz and Skoula have a lot of talent, and at least one of them needs to realize their offensive potential this year. I really like Carney, and I think he'll give us a bit of what Willie Mitchell (tear) used to. Up front, my proposed top line would give us, when everyone is healthy, about as good a #1 scoring line as there is in the West. I don't like Rolston as much on the wing as I do at center, but he'll fit in there to give us the best look. Another one of my favorite guys, he'll get more goals playing on a line with Bouchard. I think Bouchard should always find himself on the top PP unit. Playing with Gaborik and Demitra there could help him finally break out. I like the looks of that third line, too. Little bit of everything there; Walz is a solid defensive forward, Dupuis an all around player who needs to provide more offense, and Radivojevic adds some goal scoring power to the trio. However the lines shake out, our offense should be much improved this year - IF people stay healthy. Johnsson, Demitra and most of all Gaborik need to play close to full seasons if we are to take the next step. Here's hoping they do! Go Wild :wavetowel
