Wild re-sign foster

The Minnesota Wild attended to one of their own Wednesday, re-signing defenseman Kurtis Foster to a one-year contract.
Financial terms were not disclosed, but Foster made $450,000 this past season.
Slated to become a restricted free agent on July 1, Foster appeared in 58 games for the Wild in 2005-06, recording 10 goals, 18 assists and 40 penalty minutes. The 24-year-old led all Minnesota defensemen in tallies and points while playing an
average of 19 minutes, 13 seconds per game.
A second-round pick of the Calgary Flames in 2000, the 6-5, 235-pound Foster has collected 10 goals and 29 points in 63 career games with the Atlanta Thrashers and Wild.
