Wild general manager Doug Risebrough has shown an interest in Florida Panthers winger Kristian Huselius, reports the Star Tribune.
Panthers GM Mike Keenan is supposedly holding a player auction in South Florida, and Huselius was merely one name on a list of available players he faxed to his peers last week.
"I had some discussions with Mike about Kristian Huselius," Risebrough told the Star Tribune. "That's where it was left as of now. He sent out a fax, and I responded to the fax."
Huselius, 27, was a healthy scratch Monday against Toronto, and the Boston Bruins are also reportedly interested.
Meanwhile, as recently speculation has suggested that Roberto Luongo is being shopped, Risebrough said that the star goalie was not on the Panthers' list.
