I watched the game last night, and I have to say the Wild are playing incredibly well as a team this year. Everybody seems to be contributing offensively, and Roloson/Fernandez are both having solid seasons again. I forgot how fast Gaborik was until that assist where he skated all the way around behind the net and backhanded a pass to Mitchell. Gabby should be a player that benefits immensely because of the new rules.:0pouce:

That's what we're hoping!

Everyone has said how Lemaire is going to have trouble adapting to the new rulse, have trouble generating offense, etc, but I think they've forgotten that he always has his teams playing great team hockey. Even when the old rules were in place, we weren't good because we had Gabby going for 90 points per year, it was because we had guys like Antti Laaksonen, Andrew Brunette, Pascal Dupuis, Jim Dowd, etc. contributing. One thing I love about the Wild is that they play the team game, and everyone contributes in the system. We're not a top offensive team, but we've got enough talent and scoring ability that because we play smart and organized, we're able to get results. :0pouce:

Well, things were going great, especially for Gaborik. Too bad he aggrevated his groin again last nite and couldnt finish the 3rd period against Chicago. He's out indefinitely right now. He missed a month last time, lets hope its not as bad as before.

Definitely hope this isn't as bad as before. He had 5 points in 3 games since coming back, and we need Gabby as a consistent source of offense. Let's hope he's back on the ice soon. :hands:

Yesterday (Oct 27th), on TSN they reported he'll be out 7-10 days...hopefully thats all...but u dont wanna see him get rushed back to soon...its bringing back memories of jaromir jagr a few years ago...he;d come back for a few games and tear it up...then pull his groin..be out a few weeks then come back and tear it up again and the cycle repeats.....

Yeah, we definitely have to avoid rushing him. He's far too valuable for us to mishandle his rehab. :hands:
