What is happening with this guy? He was on fire last year had 5 goals in like 3 games to start the season then got injured and i haven't heard of him since? Any news?

Can't imagine you'd hear much from this guy anymore. I think his 0 goal season in Ottawa kind of sealed his NHL fate.

and he disappeared. I'd think Minny would pursue this guy still. Isn't he under contract for them anyways?

Those stats still don't hide the fact that he went a season without scoring a goal. It's not like he had a bad season where his production tapers off like a lot of players but yet still manage to pot a few. He didn't score a goal for one year. He's nowhere to be found on the Wild's website which leads me to believe he's washed up. Besides, if the Wild are employing a bum like Daigle then there's probably no room left for Bill Muckalt.

On all other major sports sites ( CBS, Sportsillustrated, ESPN, NHL) They all have him listed as on the Wild. And you didn't even take the time to really look at the site because you'd notice he is there under " In the System"

I did look, I must have missed him. I think you're looking for a solid answer on Bill Muckalt's status, which I can't give. I can only bash the guy, you probably don't want that. I'll opt out of your thread now.

He is still listed at TSN as being with Minny but he hasn't played a game since early last season. He has had a lot of Shoulder problems and my best guess is he has retired. I checked at NHLPA.com and he isn't listed there so that means he isn't under contract.
