ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - As the Minnesota Wild prepare for their fourth season, one of the biggest stars of last season's improbable playoff run, Marian Gaborik, is preparing to play in the league opener for Dukla Trencin of the Slovakian Elite League.
I think this will really hurt the Wild if Gabby leaves. He was a big asset in the playoffs and was and will be a pure goal scorer. Let's hope he doesn't leave. http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/artic...01_122107_1084
Gaborik is a huge part of this team, with out him the Wilds chances are greatly diminshed. For the sake of this team I hope he comes back.

Do not underestimate Lemaire. No doubt if Gabby isn't in the line up it will hurt but not a lot. The Wild will be competitive regardless. He'll be back by the time the season starts IMO.
Look for the Wild to move him if they can't work it out. They're not going to break the bank for him. That's just not how they operate.

with Gabby doing the hold out thing, I hope that Daigle will be a solid fit under Lemaire's coaching. Daigle seems to be trapped under the #1 Draft Pick curse. http://www.wild.com/index.cfm?sectio...cont_id=207099
