According to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, defenseman Sean Hill has agreed to a one-year contract with the Wild, but the team is waiting on answers from the league regarding his suspension status.
Hill has 19 games left to serve on his 20-game suspension for becoming the first NHL player to violate the league's drug policy.
"This might take a while," Wild Asst. GM Tom Lynn told the Star-Tribune. "It's a holiday [Wednesday], and I don't know how long it'll take to get answers from a league that doesn't want to prejudge things. So it makes it hard for us to make a decision.
