According to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Wild GM Doug Risebrough will be looking for "middle-tier" free agents.
Veteran forwards Wes Walz, Wyatt Smith and Todd White are unrestricted free agents and might not return to Minnesota.
While Risebrough is trying to obtain replacements, he isn't looking to offer long-term deals.
"We're in a position where some of our top-end spots are nailed down, and that's good," Risebrough told the Star-Tribune.
