Law enforcement officials said a member of the New York Yankees’ organization was aboard the plane. The Associated Press and NBC News identified that person as Lidle. Lidel's passport was reportedly found on the street below the crash site"

This topic is a little mis-leading. He wasn't killed.. He died. Not really killed that kind of leads onto him being murdered.

Sucks that he died I remember watching him well he was a Bluejay. Condolences to family/friends and teammates.

Just because someone is killed doesnt mean it has to be murder. You could say that somebody was killed in a car accident..

Yes, this does really suck, even though I don't like baseball. I wonder what went wrong with the plane...condolences to all parties involved with this man, it's a sad sad day.
