Default The wild card teams.

Who will get the wild card from each league.

My picks will go to these two.

Twins and Reds.

The Twins and the Astros have been surging lately and I'm going with them. In Minnesota's case, their bullpen strength (iirc five pitchers with ERAs of less than 3) should be enough to make up for their on-again, off-again offensive production. For Houston, if Berkman breaks out of his slump and Clemens keeps up his production, they should be able to make up the game difference.

The Twins may win the AL central, the White Sox will then take the Wild Card and the collapsing Tigers will get third place. The AL central really is the toughest division in baseball. Put those two of those teams in different divisions, and it's likely they're leading them by a mile.

Don't know about the NL.

well considering the yankees lost matsui, shefield for more 3/4ths of the season and cano for 6 weeks. and the red sox had there share also as well some of the blue jays the central prob was the best division so far.

The Twins could very well pass the Tigers at this point.

The Tigers could very well clinch a playoff spot by Friday if the White Sox play like they did last night again. Remember the magic number for the tigers is 7. Any combination of White Sox loses and Tiger wins that total 7 would clinch atleast the Wild Card for the Tigers.

The Tigers might not win the division but they still could have a better record then either of the other two AL dividion winners. (possible not likely)
