(Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Kings will try to put a positive finish on a successful road trip as they visit the Carolina Hurricanes tonight at RBC Center.

The Kings are 2-0-2 so far in the five-game swing and are coming off Saturday's win over the Western Conference-leading Nashville Predators. Rookie standout Anze Kopitar tallied two goals to lead Los Angeles to the 4-1 victory at Gaylord Entertainment Center.

Kopitar, a 19-year-old Slovenian, is second among NHL rookies with 50 points (16 goals, 34 assists) in 58 games.

Michael Cammalleri added a goal and an assist for the Kings, who ended a two- game slide and won for just the third time in their last 15 games overall.

Los Angeles goaltender Sean Burke was solid between the pipes, as he finished with 21 saves.

Next up for the Kings, who are just 8-18-2 as the away club this year, will be a home-and-home series with the rival Anaheim Ducks. They will host the Ducks on Saturday and then make the return trip to Anaheim on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Hurricanes are coming off a loss in the finale of a three-game road trip. Carolina started the trek with wins in Montreal and Boston, but ended it with a close loss at Minnesota on Saturday. Marian Gaborik scored twice and added an assist to give the Wild a 5-4 win at Xcel Energy Center.
