(Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Kings wasted little time picking up the first win of their current five-game road trip.

On Saturday in the trek's opener, the Kings dismantled the Florida Panthers 7-0, tying a franchise record for the largest margin of victory on the road. Los Angeles has accomplished the feat five times now in history. Before Saturday, the last time the Kings did it was an 11-4 win over San Jose on November 8, 1992.

Michael Cammalleri and Alexander Frolov each had two goals and two assists in the win, which also saw a season high in saves by Sean Burke (40 saves). Burke recorded the 38th shutout of his career and first with the Kings.

For Cammalleri, the four points were a career high for a single game and also extended his scoring streak to six games. He has four goals and five assists over that span. He has already equaled his career high for assists on the season with 29.

Then on Monday, the Kings shook up their roster by sending forwards Sean Avery and John Seymour to the New York Rangers for forwards Jason Ward and Marc- Andre Cliche and center Jan Marek.

The trade ends Avery's four-season stay in Los Angeles. He was acquired by the Kings from Detroit during the 2002-03 season and spent the next two full seasons with LA. He played in 55 games with the Kings this year and had 10 goals, 18 assists and 116 penalty minutes.
