Default Remembering the all gold

Still my all time favorite hockey uniform of all time. The all gold with forum blue trim. Like the late 60's to mid to late 70's version. Unique.

Rogie rocked. My favorite team of all time. The 1974-75 Kings. 42-17-21 with 105 points. Huge disappointment when they lost to the Maple Leafs in game 3 of the preliminary round. I remember it well because back in those days CBC, or channel 9 from a Detroit TV didn't usually if ever, televise a west coast game. I assumed it wasn't going to be shown at 11pm so I didn't stay up to watch it as a kid. How disappointing when my neighbor told me they lost 2 to 1 and there was a pretty good stick fight. I've been searching the web for that game 3 for years now with no luck. I'm not cashing in my chips until I finally get to see that game in its entirety. The wings stunk in the 70's thanks to Ned Harkness so every kid in the neighborhood had to adopt another team to root for.
