The Los Angeles Kings selected Jonathan Bernier with thier first pick in this years draft. I've seen this kid play, hes not bad at all, He can go toe to toe with most of the overage (20 yr old) goaltenders in the Q, which is impressive for an 18 year old, especialy considering his team the Lewiston Maniacs Modiocre team at best, not too bad but not good either. Jonathan will probably be the Premier goaltender in the leauge next year, hopefuly for Lewiston, the kings dont call him up for verry long if at all

a funny fact: The first goal ever scored against Jonathan Bernier in the QMJHL was scored by his older brother Marc-Andre Bernier (Drafted second-round by Vancouver in 04'), who played for halifax.

Always nice to see another Q-Leuager in the NHL. Also nice to have a first rounder in Lewiston, a town just learning to love hockey.
