No way in hell Scott Thornton is worth $1.5 million. The only reason he should be payed more than league minimum is the fact that a small percentage of his DNA is identical to his cousin's.

I actually think this wil work out for LA. Thornton is a grinder type and plays with heart. I actually thought he would be a perfect fit on the third line with the Canucks. Not a great skater, but he does the little things right. He will make La's third or fourth line better.

How the hell does Scotty.T make $1.5 million? He doesn't even produce much in the NHL. As Phish stated, he only deserves more because he's related to Joey. To be completly harsh and honest, I beleive Scott only made the NHL because of his cousin.

This is a waste of money for L.A and I feel sorry for them.
