Default Kings hope road is more hospitable in Phoenix

(Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Kings try to end a four-game road losing skid tonight when they visit the Phoenix Coyotes at Jobing.com Arena.

Los Angeles went 0-4 on a recent road swing, before heading home and splitting matches with the Rangers and Penguins. On Wednesday the Kings dropped a 4-3 overtime tilt to Pittsburgh, as phenom Evgeni Malkin capped off his two-goal night with the game-winner.

Mike Cammalleri, Dustin Brown and Rob Blake all scored for the Kings, who have dropped six of their last seven games overall. Dan Cloutier allowed four goals on 23 shots faced in the loss.

Overall the Kings are 1-5-0 on the road this season, but their lone away victory was a 4-0 tilt in Phoenix on October 19.

On the milestone front, Kings defenseman Rob Blake is slated to appear in his 1,000th regular season game in the NHL tonight.

LA will visit Colorado on Tuesday.
