Coyotes break through against Kings with rout

LOS ANGELES -- Dave Scatchard proved beyond a doubt what a hard-nosed hockey player he is.
Scatchard broke his nose about 4 1/2 minutes into the second period when he was high-sticked by Los Angeles Kings forward Derek Armstrong. Mike Ricci scored during the ensuing four-minute power play and Scatchard returned to score a power-play goal in the third period, helping the Phoenix Coyotes rout the Los Angeles Kings 6-2 on Tuesday night.
