TSN has learned that Jack Johnson and the Los Angeles Kings have agreed to terms on a new contract.

The former Michigan star defenceman is expected to join the Kings lineup Thursday night against the Vancouver Canucks.

Johnson announced Sunday that he has decided to forego his final two years of eligibility to play in the NHL.

I wonder if Carolina thinks they made a mistake by trading him away now. Who knows if he could be helping them in their final push for the playoffs right about now.
