Sweden defeated Germany earlier today by the score 3-0 I think. At the near end of the third(25 seconds away from the win with a 3-0 lead after an empty net goal) the Swedes coach called a timeout and started a celebration by fist pounds. Perhaps to mock the Germans?

Sweden/Germany was 3-1. And Bengt-Ake Gustafsson took the time out to put Anders Lindback in net so that he was officially a member of the bronze medal winning team, since the IIHF only recognizes the players that actually played during the tournament.

I only watched the highlights and they didn't mentionthat only showed Gustafsson celebrating while taking the time out..

Sorry, his last name is Gustafsson, I have no idea where I got Andersson from. Probably thinking about Jonas Andersson, who scored the game winning goal and the empty net one.

I wouldn't expect people putting together the highlight package to know why he took the time out. Gustafsson has always tried to get everybody into the games if he can afford it, and given that the game sheet says that Lindback was put in at 59:59, I assume that's what he was going for.
