Haha i was just coming on here to make a thread about this tournament and sure enough my buddy hockey north star has taken care of this. Im really excited how Sparta Praha is playing in this tournament after a pretty tough run in the league table. 4th and no real chance at first. Well tommorow good luck to klummin and his Metallurg Magnitogorsk club but Sparta will prevail. Ola Sparta Praha!

This is such a great tournament why not expand it I.I.H.F to more teams at a better time.

Hehehehehe got you covered Leafs 1003 has for Sparta they have been a big surprise but they are in tough in the final game against the russian club.
I think this is the last for this tourment has Next year they are going to change it to something like the champions league in Soccer. I think the winner of this tourny will play an NHL team for the Victory Cup Later this year.

Ahh we got are butts handed to us today but you know i am proud of my club because we were in Russia and facing alot of hostile crowds and we played a russian squad in the final who is very talented and well coached. Kluemin looked great though so there is a tiny bit of good from this. Right before the match there was a press confrence to announce the changes to 12 teams and a group play. So you were right on the money. I had heard rumour of this but never thought the greedy IIHf would do this. I really would love to see Ahl and Nhl Champions Come to Europe. The only reason i am a leaf fan was there tour of sweden back several years now. I was able to fly for not so much and see nhl club. Back when Robert Svehla was on the club Good times.
So here is link on the new format.
