I love my PS3. The fact that it can do it all is what really appeals to me. Wireless internet built in, Blu-Ray support, free online play, it's use of multimedia, the ability to connect it to almost every device in your house, and I find the Playstation Store to be better than Xbox Live's Marketplace.

As for games, there are a ton of games for everyone on the PS3 (omitting NHL10, because that's a given). But I'll just name a few.

The Uncharted series are very good action/adventure/platformer/third-person shooters with great storylines. While I enjoyed Uncharted 2 a bit more, the first one was great as well.

Killzone 2 is one of the best first-person shooters that I have ever played. Resistance and Resistance 2 are pretty darn good first-person shooters in their own right as well.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is a darn near perfect game, in my opinion. Everything about it was done so well. Definitely the best game I've played this console generation.

I've played NHL10 for both Xbox and PS3 and I must say, it is better for PS3, not necessarily because of the gameplay, because the graphics and everything else are comparable, but because of the people who play the game.

PS3, in my opinion, you tend to get a better type of gamer. Usually, the people I've played against in NHL10 on PS3 actually play the game how it is supposed to be played. Essentially, this means that the player does not:

(1) Skate the puck around in circles in his own zone to kill off a penalty.
(2) Dive to the ice and lay on the ground in your zone because he knows your player will lose the puck, or dive right in front of the goalie when it's a 1 on 1 just because it's extremely hard to snipe one in when coming straight at the goalie.
(3) Incessantly lay the stick down on the ice at every chance, knowing that you will lose the puck every time if he does so at the right time.
(4) Constantly hit players after the whistle and make the game last twice as long as it should.
(5) Find every glitch shot in the game and constantly try to score by using the glitch shot.
(6) Any number of other things that are simply aggravating and suck all the life out of the game.

If you play online, XBOX360, so much more stable and reliable. No it's not free, but you get what you pay for.

If you just play games and not much online, PS3, it has BlueRay.

I played both for the last 6 months and they're both great, but XBOX is definitely better for online play.

Can't really tell you if it's better than the Xbox, but I really enjoy my PS3. I'm not a real big online game though.

As for games, can't go wrong with the 2 Uncharted games, Metal Gear Solid 4 is fantastic, the Ratchet and Clank games are always fun, and Killzone 2 is amazing. Also, I hear LittleBigPlanet is great, but I've not played it. God of War 3 looks to be pretty good, being released in March. Demon's Souls is supposed to be a great game, but again, haven't played it. I'm sure there are a lot of others, but those are the standouts that I can think of right now.

Both of the console are fantastic But in between PS3 is the best gaming console.. PS3 have many good features.

According to me PS3 is much much better than xbox 360. The features of PS3 is better than xbox 360. So if you wanna purchase then go with PS3.
