Uniball is one of the oldest and most well-preserved multiplayer online games on the internet.
In Uniball, players control ships that they maneuver to bounce, pass, and shoot in a team-based environment that incorporates leagues, squads, and a very close-knit community. There are servers based in the USA and in the UK, so if you have an internet connection and a measly 128mb of RAM, you can enjoy Uniball. Games typically include 2-8 people, though occassionally games that include up to 40 players are hosted!
When you download the game client, you also download BRChat, which is where players go to talk with others, organize game, recruit for squads, and so forth.
Also, you get the server browser, which you need to connect to and select a server.
Uniball incorporates elements of hockey, soccer, basketball, and football, and is a very unique sports-based game. It is tons of fun, so if you're someone who loves sports or teamwork, Uniball is a great game.
