Im not sure if this is the exact reason but... For a couple of weeks and for longer Yoata has continued ot bash a troll other members. And eventually we felt we had to step in so maybe it would get through to him that we will not tolerate his garbage.

It wasn't just Yoata. We felt that he had been warned enough and this is an example to all members on the board that this kind if thing doesn't slide.

We're not exactly singling-out Yoata, that's just the way it happened.

How do the mods decide whether to suspend or ban a poster? What does someone have to do to step over the line from suspension to a all out ban?

check the rules, check the consent form you agreed to when you registered to become a member. This is not done lightly or without a process of consultation between the mods and hockeyman.

There are more interesting things to talk about and worry about than another members status.

Good to see that SUMMITS finally got the boot yesterday. In the past he tried to sign up under another alias and now more recently him and his "buds" have been spamming for their site. I was happy when I realized that he was banned.
