Hi,

my name is Miha and i'm new to this forum. For the begining let me introduce myself. As i said i'm Miha, i'm coming from Slovenia (small country in Europe), and i was searching for some international hockey forum for a special reason, and i found this one. That special reason is home made carbon. In the coming up winter or sooner i have an intetion to made some hockey stick extension made from carbon and if i will be successful i will move on to makeing homemade carbon hockey stick. I will post photos of my progress so you will see how am i doing and coment some things. If you have any experience of doing this please let me know and mail me (decman99@gmail.com).

Hi,

today i have finaly bought all the materials that i need for making carbon extension of a hockey stick. If everything will go smooth this weekend i will make some of it maybe tomorow or on sunday and ofcourse i will post some photos so you can see the procedure and final product.

So here are first photos of material that i will be using during my work =).

Mold for hockey stick extension,

wax, which is serving as an isolation between mould and carbon,

carbon fibre which i will apply for finishing layer. It's weight is 160g m2,

and carbon fibre which is sectioned at an angle of 45°. It's weight is 180g m2.


So that's all for today. Hopefully i will make some of extensions today and post pictures tomorow, but if not, i will post photos on monday =)
