Actually if I heard right Tom had mentioned to the dolphin trainer that he wanted to take her to the final four with him.

Amazing Race:

awesome, awesome leg this week. Here's the sum up.

Alex and Rob tried to score tickets to go to India. Alex got a flight for them, Team Wanna Baby (Uchenna/Joyce) and Team Sheep (Meredith/Gretchen). Team Survior and Team Barbie also scored tickets (for only the four of them, and this flight was earilier than the others).

In India There was a Yield.

Team Barbie gets there first and Team Survivor talked them out of Yielding ANYONE (good Job Rob!). Survivor doesn't yield anyone either, and Team Whine was surprised that they (Survivor) didn't yield them. After the Yield they had to go to the Steel Emporium and search through thousands of boxes to the next clue (and any box they dented apparently they had to purchase LOL).

After here they got a roadblock (Solid or Liquid. Liquid is delivering tea, Solid is slamming coal and carrying 175 lbs of it. OBVIOUSLY no one picked Coal).

Team Barbie and team Whine waste time getting a taxi isntead of taking a rickshaw. Survivor gets there first, and Barbie (aka Sheep Team 2) follows them, but realise that the lists they have to deliver the tea are different. Team Sheep Number 1 is still stuck at the steel emporioum. Gretchen got all upset that she couldn't find it).

Survivor Finishes First, gets to the mat where Phil goes, do you think you're done. You're NOT. LOL

it's to be continued

On Survivor, Team Pathetic (to be known now as Team Steph) is now just one person. I nearly started crying, I felt so sorry for her as she tried to go fishing, tend her fire, get coconuts etc, by herself. this is seriously surviving. The whole No man Is an Island myth is true. there is no way someone can do that by themselves. (a woman anyway - i will FULLY admit that).

Team Koror is being stupid...Coby is bitching and whine....blah blah.

Stephanie gets the "merger" letter, and she several times has to stop herself, she feels like she is going to burst into tears (this was so sad - and I nearly lost it here again).

there is no offical merger name, there is no offical merger buff (which is bummery. i was hoping for them to go to Tribal Green )

they learn how to Paluan fish by (gee) Paluans. They stay over night. Coby gets pissed off that Tom and Ian won't let him learn. Coby takes the girls and gets bait. Tom laters gets pissed (drunk).

Coby takes stephanie and lets her know ALL the tribal dynamics. Stephanie tells Jennifer (Coby was really obvious about it, so Stephanie didn't really have to hide it from him.)

Immunity is from Australia/Amazon: Stand on a platform as long as you want to. This one always pisses me off. it's hot, it's humid, there are bugs, and there is jeff probst laying in a lawn chair.

Then he brings out donuts. (Janu and Coby Jump Out)

Then he brings out chocolate chip cookies and ONE glass of milk (no mention of the brand of cookies).

There is Tom, Stephanie and Caryn left, and Jeff brings out a pizza. Stephanie (my favourite girl, but STUPID move) and Caryn jump off, so Tom wins immunity.

Jeff rubs in the fact that for one person the food cost them one million bones. Everyone votes out Coby (Coby voted on Janu, Janu voted on Steph).

That's it guys.

I am so happy the gay guys are gone. They were starting to drive me nuts. I have nothing against gay ppl but i just didn't like them.

Next week will for sure be a non elimination because it's not the last show and they always go into the last show with 4 teams. So 1 team will have to go into the 2nd last leg with no money or anything to their name.

Should be a great finish!

I am in an "Amazing Race" Pool (ahh, the things you do when there's no hockey)
Going into last night I was 1 point out of first place.
I have Rob'n'Amber and Ron'n'Kelly remaining.

The guy who was leading had Mr. & Mrs FancyPants and Uchena & Joyce.
With the boyfriend's elimination, I have just about clinched 1st place.
First prize is about $100 plus supreme "Amazing Race" bragging rights.

GOD . . . I miss hockey.

Anyone else getting the feeling that the older couple has to win the whole thing now? They have escaped elimination so many times and in so many ways, I just can't see them losing. They made another mistake in the second half of this leg by putting Gretchan on top of the elephant. I was thinking - what idiots! They have made so many of those type of mistakes, whether it be forgeting the clue or missing signs, but they've been able to overcome those lapses in judgement/memory and that is why I'm still cheering for them.

Nah, I think they are now goners. The other 3 teams are all very good. It would take something very strange happening to keep them in it any longer.

I think Rob and Amber deserve to win it but all it takes is one mistake to blow it. Just ask colin from amazing race 5 if you don't believe me. I'm looking forward to the finale. It should be very entertaining.

ding dong, gay guys gone. talk about dirty americans. nothing against them, two of my v. best friends are gay, but these guys were too flamboyant, too stupid and too dirty (i still remember all those comments when they were in central america and africa) ignorant for my liking.

okay. I need to know - who the heck isn't cheering for Stephanie on Survivor? If this girl doesn't win, my heart will break. Janu was pissing me off so much, and what sucks is that she STILL gets to be part of the jury. I would have killed to have jeff say fine, go home, and we'll bring someone from ULONG to be on the jury since you don't want to be here you stupid showgirl cow.

that is what aggrivates me about these shows. All these people who get rejected and then you have people like Osten (season 7) and Janu (this season) who can't hack it. You cost someone a chance to play for a million. (the reason why i'm not including Jenna and Sue (season 8), is because the reasons why they left were very worthwhile).

suck it up or don't audition!

Lap, sometimes your reaction to particular situation is different than what you'll think it will be.
Janu, Osten, Sue thought they were mentally tough enough to handle all that was thrown at them. . .apparently they were not.
I don't think they went with the attitude "ahh, I'll give it a try, if it doesn't work, I'll quit in front of millions of people"

As for Stephanie, what a devious player she is.
Her little waterworks convinced Janu to walk away.
How contrived is that ? Talk about manipulative.
"I'm strong . . .I can handle anything . . . I'm a threat to everyone . . .but, hey maybe I can do a sympathy thing with few tears"

Butterfly, that is true. but it still seriously annoying though LOL. but I never lumped Sue with the "losers".

Do you honestly think the waterworks is what prompted Janu to lay down the torch? She was ready to lump it since day 9. But hey - work with what you got.
