Sounds like yet another one year deal for Hossa. Another team that may be taking a shot for this year. They can't afford Hossa long term with Kane and Toews coming up for FA next year.

Honestly, I see it working if Hossa takes long term over big pay. You forget that the 'Hawks are losing Khabibulin, and Havlat if Hossa is signed, that's considerable capspace.
