Karlis Skrastins

I love this guys, he killed us when we played colorado, and it'll be good to have him in our lineup infront of Turco. Also, Skrastins is the NHL's ironman.

I don't think so. There are teams that were worse than them last year that have done less than the leafs so far this offseason.

The only reason he did that was for more money, for no other reason.

I won't blame him for that. Before this contract he was making $750K a year. He busted his butt, won a cup, and now gets the payout. This is the pinnacle of his career, and was the perfect time for him to cash in. This will be the ONLY time he will ever get a contract like this. The Pens could not come close to that contract. And at 30 years old, this may be the last contract he ever signs. He will still be loved by Pens fans. My hat comes off to him.

ATL will hopefully get a full season out of Bogosian, some improvement from Little and if Kane can come in and contribute, they would be better than TOR. Former Leafs Kubina and Antropov should give them enough to finish ahead of the Leafs.

Colorado if healthy would have done better last year. A full season from Stastny is a must.

Tampa has no business being as bad as they were last year. They will be in the hunt for a playoff spot.

NYI might still be in the Leafs Zone, but Tavares might tip the scales. It is doubtful they are near a playoff spot next season.

PHX, who knows? At some point all that young talent has to put it together.

I think TOR has a good shot at #1 next year. Atleast top 3.

You ask Ovechkin if he would trade his Art Ross and Richard Trophies, to trade places with Sidney Crosby last June.

Cheers to that! Good luck Scuds, and enjoy the money. You deserve it (well, as a person at least).

I think the NYI would be a little better even without Tavares this yea, but he could help get then slightly near a playoff spot. All that PHX has to do is have another season like they did last year up to the All-star break and then not go to the ****ter and they will be in the playoffs. I agree with you on tampa though, they should have been a better team then they came out to be, but I guess that stuff just happens.
