Why part with youthful talent in Zednik and Hoss(whom have smaller salaries), for two under achieving players, with big salaries?

Makes no sense. Gainey wants to rebuild the Habs, not destroy them as previous Habs GM's have done

these are player who aren't have a lot of ice time ....
zednik is not a worker and same thing for hossa ....

if you were watching the game every night you would see that théodore and all the habs aren't great hockey players...

of the 37 shots like 25 are from the red line ...
stop watching news and listen the games before saying to me that he's in the top 10 goaltender...

Zednik was your top guy last year! I think that would be considered a worker. From this post, and the one below..it is clearly evident you are not a Habs fan. Your basically saying, that you have no faith in Theodore, or your team. And that they are not a good hockey club.

Sure, they may not be that good, but they could do with some support from the fans. I bet if they were winning, you'd be all over them :roll: Next wagon is in 5 minutes

Carter has underachieved since he came in the league, he generally starts out great but by the time the season hits the quarter pole he is once again sucking wind, I watched him do it several seasons in a row in Edmonton.

As for shipping out Théodore, Zednik, and Hossa that is imho nuts.

No offense to the Vancouver guy but you DO have a better team.

Montreal doesn't have the players for a stanley cup worhty team... We only have good players... See, you guys have GREAT players like Naslund, Bertuzzi you have good rookies like Jason King and solid defensemen like Jovanovsky....The rest of your players are good, but not great.

In our team besides Koivu, Theo, Souray and Ryder, who would you like to have?? Juneau, Rivet, Audette??? I think not.
