Also, just because it's hilarious, I like that hooking without being called is something that only Vancouver and Detroit do, and is horribly rotten and dirty.

Most dangerous play in hockey, really.

Most dangerous play indeed... Campbell really needs to put his foot down on these teams and hand out lengthy suspensions next time any player from either of those teams gently tugs at an opponents side with his stick.

Has Detroit had anybody with more than 70 PIMs in a season since Shanahan left? He was consistently the team leader in PIMs and only over 120 once in the last 10 years.

Those numbers are only so low because of all the horrible hooking penalties they get away with.

Well, look at that!! FOUR players off of Philly to get suspended THIS YEAR?! I never would have guessed. Are you guys still going to say that it has nothing to do with coaching? Downie, Boulerice, Jones, and Hartnell are all just mean cruel players with a "history" of violence?

Don't forget #5: Cote...

I've been reading countless comments (not on this site, yet) that the coaching had nothing to do with Bertuzzi/Moore and that Crawford is not responsible for it after this report recently came about him calling for Moore to be attacked...well, if you're not going to blame the coach and hold him responsible there, don't do it here. Enough with the double standards.

I guess guys like Wayne Cashman were puzzies as well.

'I'd like to cut someones eyes out with this stick'.Wayne Cashman, said within earshot of Bruce Hood.

I saw him squared off in a stickswinging duel with Jimmy Watson that was cut short by a Paul Holmgren tackle. In the pileup,Wayne reportedly tried to gouge Homers recently surgically repaired eye.

It's easy enuff, like most North Americans do, to insult someones manhood from the soft, protected confines of your own home, but if you wouldn't say the same thing to the guy in a dark alley in the ghetto,STFU or grow a pair.
