Hi I was wondering if anyone would help me decide which pair of skates is best.

1-Bauer Vapor X
2-Bauer Vapor XI
3-Mission Pure Flys
4-Mission Pure lights
5-Mission s300

I have a cheapo version of Vapors right now called Vapor Selects. They broke down really fast and I need new skates. My 3 year old mission rollerblades have held up nice after pretty much everyday use. How do lightspeed chassis compare to the custom+, and how does the pitch system work, Well? Share your experiencesand thoughts.

Pitch system , which im sur eyou know is on the s300 & above, is a great system in theory. i havent been able to demo them yet, but Mission is horrible for their runners breaking sooooo i dunno.

Pure lite is a phenominal skate fo rthe price, best fit i've tried on

vapour 11(xI whatever) ummm, kinda overpriced, 299.99 reg price they shouldnt be

I really like the mission fit sysytem as they contour to your ankle, give u a supple fit instead of a stiff ankle hold.

edit: tried on the s500's today at work....orgasm...awesome skate, all the bells and whistles.

I would go for a pair of Missions, that's all I skate on now. Ice and Roller for me is Mission. But if I were you, the old Bauer Vapor 10 skates are much better than the new Vapors (for example Vapor X) that are out now in my opinion.

yeh I just bought a pair of s400's glad you guys said good thing about missions. It's still an adjustment to get used to the pitch i think my bauers had a better feel. The boot is very comfortable. I think I made the right choice to go with the mission best boot for sure I am still not sure about the pitch though. The boot doesn't have to beveled like those bauers and CCM's they never lose an edge because of the boot. One bad thing I noticed today is that he blades are already starting to rust and I've been treating these things like gold, too? Anyone else hae this problem.
