What do you recomend for my son that is 8 years old ( yee i know he is young but i am a sucker for hockey products)

He now use a Nike Apollo stick with CCM blade (Swede profile)
But we are looking for a one piece stick
CCM vector 110
Easton Synergy

Any sugestions?

I didn't know Vector came in junior, I know the synergy does.

For an 8 year old, it wouldn't really matter what composite. It's not like the kid's going to put 180 lbs into the stick every shot.

Anything would do fine.

For an 8 year you should get him a wooden stick,but unless you've got money to spendbuy him what ever that heck you want

I know that he dont use the stick like an adult but i am looking for low weight,good shape of the stick (grip) and i good shape of the blade.

In sweden we have junior flex for the vector 110 and we have also a speciel blade custom made for our club in stockholm by CCM.
The blade have a 40 degres angle insteed of 45.

I am 11 and I am still using a wood stick and they are really sturdy. I mean an 8 year old with a 100 dollar stick? Hey If u want him to have a good stick buy ure kid a Bauer wooden stick. they are either black or white. they are really great sticks.

I just use a plain old wooden stick. Its worth??? about 10 bucks. Although I've never used the Synergy, or composite sticks, they clearly are a waste of money. Watch on TV, they break so easily. I would never buy a stick worth that much.

you're absolutely right. here in vancouver, even the best hockey shops say the same thing. unless you're breaking out to be a star and can use an expensive stick properly, it does nothing for your kid. they say it's a pure waste of money. but i guess if you've got the money...and you want to spend it...sure...

im 13 and i use a one piece sherwood eclipse, and mission one, i also used to have a synergy but broke it over someone's head :lol: , kidding, i broke it a a wristshot (to much fex into the shot i guess)

One piece sticks are fragile(i broke 2 in one week :lol anyway, i used to have a nice Tps Rubber, nice stick, nice flex but i snapped that as well ops:,now i use a graf wooden stick and i really enjoy

for your son, i would say depends on his shot, if he hasn't developed it to his fullest, i would say get him a nice wooden one, but if hes has an amazing shot get, and you think its worth the 100 - 200 dollar range i would say stick with the 2 piece (you can always change the blade), one piece sticks do help with your shot ( they give it an extra <>&: ) but its not worth the money, True he is only 8 years old and probably wont break because he is 8.

But if you really really really want a one piece stick, i would go with the TPS Rubber Response, I tried it, I loved it, I broke it

Actually I think the Responses are two-piece sticks because I have a friend who has one, it looks like a one-piece stick but him and his dad say they had to buy the blade and the shaft.
