I just had to share what I saw when I visited the Icethetics blog today...

This graphics artist by the name of Sigma Kappa (obviously like a Greek fraternity, huh?) submitted this great looking logo and uniform concept package for a new Florida Panthers look.

This is amazing work! What do you think? Do you like the logo? How about the uniform design?

I made a comment where I suggested that this guy should submit this to the team. Plus, if it were to become the Panthers' new identity but also satisfy the hardcore fans from day one, put the current logo and 2007 uniforms (pre-RBK Edge) into permanent "retro" like use (meaning still use it for a select number of games).

I personally like what the Panthers had immediately before they went to the RBK Edge look.

It is a pretty nice design, yes. But when I look at it, it doesnt remind me of a panther. It looks like another animal. And I particularly like the whole stick-biting thing that they have now, and the Sharks have too.

Jerseys are to much like the Ducks for my liking. Why bother making a new logo now, the Panthers will be re-located within the next three-five years.

I like the color scheme but logos need to be more striking/some more contrast. (As long as they're not as boring as the Wild and have that stupid string around the neck which makes them look like pajama tops.) Kind of looks like the Penn State Nittany Lion.
I like the present uniforms and colors.
