(Sports Network) - The Florida Panthers may not make the playoffs, but it appears as if they'll have a say in who's going to win the Southeast Division. Tonight the club shoots for a second consecutive victory over one of the division's top teams when the Atlanta Thrashers pay a visit to the BankAtlantic Center.
Atlanta was able to maintain its two-point advantage over second-place Tampa Bay in the Southeast standings with some help from the Panthers, who handed the Lightning a 5-2 defeat Tuesday at the St. Pete Times Forum.

Bryan Allen finished with a goal and an assist and Ed Belfour stopped 27 shots in his 27th consecutive start between the pipes.
