Default Sven ?

I've been hearing alot about this guy and how he may be the next Naslund or Sundin and how the leafs might draft him. I'd like to hear what some fans have to say about his guy ? and is he better then our other option Brayden Schenn ?

Are you talking about Magnus Paajarvi-Svensson? I don't think that there's any player by the name of Sven that's been projected to go in the first round.

A lot of people compare him to Forsberg and Sundin, just because of the similarities in their stats. I think the comparison to Naslund is a lot more accurate.

His skating is great. Good speed, acceleration and a great stride. His offensive game is solid as he's got a solid set of skills, nice shot, great passer, good one-on-one moves and solid in shootouts / breakaways. His defensive game, however, is nothing to write home about. Despite his size being a good size for an NHLer (6'1", 190 pounds), he shies away from contact and physical play.

As for Brayden Schenn, I'm not sure is he'll be an option for the Leafs. He's ranked anywhere from 4th to 12th on multiple teams lists, according to reports. He could easily be taken by one of the three teams with the picks immediately before the Leafs. Compared to Svensson, he's probably the more physical and defensive player of the two, but his offensive skills and skating are much lower than Svensson. Svensson also has more upside than Schenn.
