Ovechkin is no doubt better than Crosby. Ovechkin is on a more powerless team. He infact is the only star on the Capitals. Pittsburgh has Leclair, Recchi, Gonchar, used to have Palffy and Lemieux. Soon they will have Malkin and Kessel. On the Capitals all they have is Halpern and Cassels. Cassels on the other hand is injured. Ovechkin also ends up on the highlight real every two weeks. He's way more amazing than Crosby. Petr Prucha is also one of my favourite rookies.
By the way, does any one here think Kessel and Malkin will be better than Ovechkin or worse? In my opinion, Kessel I don't think will be as good as Crosby or Ovechkin. I think Kessel will turn out to be like Steen, whom is talented. However I think Malkin will turn out to be amazing. Infact more amazing than Ovechkin and Crosby and probably the best Russian ever to play hockey. Malkin was a major contribution to team Russia in this years olympics. Pavel Bure, Mogilny, and Fedorov were the best Russians at hockey but that's the past. Ovechkin and Malkin I think will be better than them in statistics. It's my opinion.
