Default Horcoff to Montreal

Has anyone else heard rumors of Horcoff going to Montreal for Markov? There would be others involved, but these two would be the bigger names in the deal.

Hmmm. I'm not sure how I feel about this deal.

Horcoff seems like he's the ideal Oiler while IMO Markov ain't nothing special.

What do you think of the deal?

Any clue on what the other pieces would be?

I think it would be a good deal for both teams. The Oilers could survive just fine without horcoff (who would also help in Montreal) and in my opinion Markov is one of the most underrated players in the game. He can play alot of solid defensive minutes as well as play a very good passing game.

And i don't know what other players or picks would be in this deal, both sources i heard it from were just talking about the two big name players. It probably won't happen anyway, but I think it makes sense for both teams.

Edmonton does need a good defenseman that's for sure. I'm just not convinced that Markov is the answer though??

Why not Markov? What defenseman would you recommend?
