Default Christmas Wish List

It's that time of year, kiddies!!! Here is my wish list for the Oilers...

Mike Comrie - one way ticket out of town
Kevin Lowe - a generous $2.5M gift from Mike Comrie
Georges Laraque - healthy fists and proof throughout the League that you are the toughest
Ales Hemsky - more shots = more goals
Tommy Salo - a big bag o' confidence
Marty Reasoner - a speedy recovery
Ryan Smyth - more left wing and goal mouth goals
Marc Andre Bergeron - less time in the press box
Ty Conklin - continued success between the pipes
Alexei Semenov - more grit....hit like you ARE 6'5" not 5'6"
Adam Oates - gel. Plenty of gel to go with the team and success to follow
Fernando Pisani - a different first name (almost as bad as Marion)
Mike York - power play goals
Eric Brewer - Olympian defensive abilities
Brad Isbister - more reasons to believe this trade was the right one
Cory Cross - proof that you're more than a Leaf throw-away
Scott Ferguson - fewer brain-cramps
Ethan Moreau - an extra set of teeth
Steve Staios - more goals to go with that new contract
Jason Chimera - fewer turnovers
Jared Stoll - continued improved play
Jason Smith - more point shot goals

And a couple of gifts from Santa for Craig MacTavish and the whole team could use....

VAST improvement on the power play and penalty kill.

Mike Comrie is def. Number one on my wish list... the faster he gets out of town the better.
Hemsky- I agree with you, this kid when ever he shoots he scores... I wish he'd shoot the puck more
Marc Andre Bergeron- He been impressive and I would love to see him play more
Torress/Stoll- Love to see these guys keep improving... they've both been great for the team this season...

Nice list, now lets hope that the Oilers can get all of the stuff on their wishlist. The ones that stand out are: Isbister, Brewer, Laraque, Reasoner, Lowe...and of couse Mike Comrie - bye bye, see you next year (or not).

Here's some of my wishes:

Salo- for him to play to his potential
Comrie- Do something, period
Oates- Make an impact at least
Hemsky- Take more shots
Laraque- play tougher
Brewer- Play to potential

I think Oates has made an impact... The amount of faceoffs won has like increase 10 fold since hes joined the team, plus he gotten a few assists... give him another week and he'll be use to the team and we'll be seeing his impact even more.

I don't follow the Oil as closely as I follow the Sens, Habs, and Canucks..

So, I just want to know from you guys that do follow them very closely..

How has Eric Brewer been playing, and I mean night in and night out. By the sounds of things, not so great.

Also, how is Adam Oates fitting in so far?

Thanks
