How about a friendly game bet with the Leaf fans on HockeyForums?

The premise of the game bet is as follows ...

Whoever loses the bet must:

1. Post a signature chosen by whoever wins* (The signature is usually sent by private message, or those participating in the game bet can list sigs on a game bet thread before the game and whoever loses must pick from the list) for a week ... must post at least once per day on HockeyForums during that week.

*Please keep the sig clean and in accordance with HockeyForums rules (i.e. no swear words or obscenity).

2. Start a thread on the opposing team's board stating 3 reasons, one per day, why their team won.

I could start a game bet thread on the Leaf board this evening ...

Sounds like an interesting idea...I'm sure you'll get some bites from a few of the Leaf fans out there. (btw, how is their Western road trip going!?!?!? k: )

I think our Oilers cursed them, slapshot k: ... ever since their 4-1 win against the Oilers right before their road trip, they've gone winless. :twisted: Two ties and two losses, I believe it is ...

I'm looking forwad to this ...

I used to do these game bets on another board 2 years ago, when I was moderating their Oiler board, and it was a big hit. Unfortuantely, no one there has continued the trend since I quit due to a busy schedule ...

Past 10 games:
Leafs: 3-3-3-1
Oilers: 6-2-2-0

On this roadtrip the Leafs have tied 2 and lost 2. The Oil have won their last 3 games.
