I'm not sure when Salo is due back but I believe that he not a capable goalie in the NHL. I know that Conklin is young doesn't have very much NHL experience but I see him as a better goalie then Salo. I am a huge fan of Conklin and he has serious skillz. He is going to probably get the next couple of starts and hopefully he can prove what he can do. I really believe that if Salo is the Oilers goalie going into the playoffs then he will do them in. Now I know the playoffs are far away but I just dislike Salo so much :evil: I expect to see Conklin between the pipes at the end of the regular season.

I think Salo will be back in the game against Calgary, first game back home after todays game (Boston), and Minnesota. Conklin isn't young. I think he's 27 and has been playing in the Oilers system for a while. That's why Markkanen was shipped off to NYR, because they thoguht Conklin would have a shot on starter, rather than Markkanen(who is older than Conklin). Ty Conklin will probably play today in Boston, because some of his friends live here (he went to the University), and taht he can show what more he has in the bag. I think he plays with great confidence, and handles the puck a lot better than Salo. I think Conklin is capable of being main goalie, but I say wait until end of this year before trading Salo.
