Ryan Smyth, or Tommy Salo

Salo is a workhorse, totally underrated goalie in the NHL.

Remember on the Isle, he was down and out, came back in a big way.

Smyth is the heart and soul of the Oil, and is a awesome sniper.

Ryan Smyth and awesome sniper don't belong in the same sentence. He is certainly a hard-working, in your face player and I'd take him on my team anyday. But sniper??? No way!!!

I agree CM, most of Ryan's goals are scored within 6 feet of the net, ala Gary Roberts crashing the crease type of goals, Roberts said many years ago that if he added up the distance from the net that all of the goals he scored one year they would most likely only add up to about 25 ft.....

Salo is overrated imho, this guy cannot go back to the Fjords soon enough for my liking. Time to take that Viking cartoon back to whence (sp?) it came.
