I, for one, am glad that he didn't sign in Detroit. Sure it would have been nice to have him, but I would also like to be able to retain certain players and promote players who I feel have worked hard and deserve their crack at the NHL.

Yes indeed we will. We need to get some of the younger talent to bloom for this team this year. And if this happens I believe Detroit yet again will be one of the top teams in the NHL for the season of 2009-2010 and could possibly have a chance at the cup once again.
