If I were a Redwings' fan, I would say no. He is good during the season, but he chokes where they need him the most, the playoffs.

Now that I'm a pens fan, I would love for them to resign him, due to we're probably going to see them in the Finals next year.

He had 26 points in 20 playoff games for the Pens last season.
In comparison, Crosby had 27, Malkin had 22.

I don't understand how after 1 mediocre playoff season hes all of the sudden a guy who is known for disappearing in the playoffs.

Angry Choked!

He choked in the playoffs for the Red Wings he was amazing in the playoffs for the Penguins I think it was because it was scared about losing again.

I see you distanced yourself from my post saying he got 26 points for you guys in the playoffs.

Good work with that.

I, for one, am glad that he didn't sign in Detroit. Sure it would have been nice to have him, but I would also like to be able to retain certain players and promote players who I feel have worked hard and deserve their crack at the NHL.

We'll be fine without him.

Yes indeed we will. We need to get some of the younger talent to bloom for this team this year. And if this happens I believe Detroit yet again will be one of the top teams in the NHL for the season of 2009-2010 and could possibly have a chance at the cup once again.
